We have over 600 books, periodicals, videotapes, audiocassettes, CD's, fact sheets and pamphlets in many categories related to disabilites and special education.

Most of our library collection is housed at the PIC main office on Kirkwood Highway. Spanish materials are available at our Georgetown office. Visit our library from: 8:30a.m. to 5:30p.m., Monday through Friday. We recommend you call before visiting.

Search Our Library Database

To use our lending library:

• Make your selection from our on-line library list for printed, audio and/or video materials.
• Once you have made your online selection, please call us at 302-999-7394 or 888-547-4412, or use the email request form at picofdel@picofdel.org
• We will hold the requested materials for you to pick up. If you live outside of New Castle County, we can mail you the requested materials.
• You may keep printed materials for up to three (3) weeks and audio/video materials for one (1) week.
• We will ask you for a deposit check (no cash please). For printed materials, a check should be made out for the cost of the book/periodical. For CDs, audio and videotapes, a check for $30 will be requested.
• Once your library items are returned, the check, at your request, will be destroyed, or accepted as a donation.

Deposit checks will not be cashed unless items are not returned. If you lose or damage an item, we will use your check to replace it. Checks older than 60 days will not be considered valid.
