How we help
Our organization‘s purpose is to give families easy access to information, training and resources designed to improve their children’s developmental and educational outcomes. We offer the following:

Individual Consultations
and Frequently Asked Questions
Our parent consultants provide one-on-one consultation to parents, professionals, and schools by phone, e-mail, or in person.
Seminars
PIC offers seminars on a wide range of topics to help parents and educators better understand the special education process, parent involvement issues, and related programs and services.
Audio Conferences
PIC offers audio conferences on a host of topics. Most range from 30-60 minutes long, and can be listened to directly from your computer.
Toolkits
Toolkits provide information to help parents to effectively support their children on their journey through education. Parents must not only be familiar with all education policies and processes, but they must also know how and what children learn. Our toolkits are designed to help parents help their children succeed.
Online Resource Center
Our online resource center links parents to valuable information that might help them make educated choices and decisions for their children.
Library
PIC maintains a comprehensive library of over 600 books, videos and DVD's on topics relating to disability, education, rehabilitation and other issues important to families.
